You are welcome to have your wedding ceremony or naming ceremony in the Botanical Garden. There are some guidelines to follow.

Reservation

To make a reservation for the wedding or naming ceremony, please e-mail the desired time and place to botan [at] botan [dot] lu [dot] se, or make a call to +46 46-222 7320.

Guidelines

Weddings and name ceremonies can take place on mowed lawns in the garden. Fencing off the area where the ceremony takes place is not allowed.

Tents and chairs are not allowed on the premises (except a few chairs for elderly or disabled persons). Acoustic music is allowed, but electronic music devices are banned.  You may bring a table for serving welcome drink etc to the guests. Garbage and other left-overs must be removed by the participants themselves.

When there is no ongoing exhibition in the Eastern Orangery of the greenhouse, there is a possibility to have the ceremony there (less than 10 guests and end of ceremony at latest 3 pm) and/or take a photo there. We offer you to borrow a sign with the information "Wedding/Naming ceremony ongoing" and the automatic sliding door mechanism will be shut off during the ceremony. There are no other spaces available for ceremonies indoor.

The botanical garden does not mediate contact to a registrar. This is up to the organizing party to arrange.
